Storage fee is the higher of a per-unit/day rate or a volume-based per-cubic-ft/day rate: 1–30 days = ₹1/unit or ₹6–8/cu.ft; 31–60 days = ₹1.25/unit or ₹6.25–8.25/cu.ft; 60+ days = ₹1.5/unit or ₹6.5–8.5/cu.ft. The volume rate varies by category — this calculator uses a representative average since category selection is excluded. Fees based on 2026 seller rates — confirm exact rates with Blinkit.
Inwarding fee
Based on quantity of product received
Inwarding fee is applied for each quantity of the product received at Blinkit warehouse. A flat fee of ₹5 per unit gets applied at the time of inwarding.
Example: 100 quantity of your products sent to our warehouse will be charged as ₹500 (₹5/unit x 100 quantities).
Storage fee
Based on inventory age and product dimensions
The storage fee is charged daily for each unsold unit stored at our warehouse and darkstore(s). It is determined based on two factors: the inventory age and the volume of the packed product. The volume is calculated using the formula: Length × Breadth × Height (in cubic centimeters). To convert this into cubic feet, the total volume is divided by 28,316.

Please note: Storage fee per cubic ft/day varies by business category. Refer to the calculator above for the exact applicable fee.
Example: 15 quantities of your product with volume 0.1 cubic ft are unsold till the 45th day of them being received at our warehouse. In such a case the total storage cost charged will be: (₹1 x 30 days + ₹1.25 x 15 days) = ₹48.75
Category commission
Based on quantity sold
Category commission is calculated as a percentage of the selling price (SP). It differs based on the business category of the product.
Example: 1 unit of product sold at ₹100 with a category commission of 15%, will be charged ₹15 .
Fulfillment fee
Based on orders fulfilled
Fulfillment fee is charged for each order delivered by Blinkit.
Example: If 2 quantities of your product are ordered in the same order, the total fulfillment fee charged will be ₹50.
Inventory removal fee
Based on units recalled
Inventory removal fee is charged for each quantity of the product recalled back from Blinkit. The products are brought back from our darkstore(s) to the warehouse(s) for you to collect. A flat fee of ₹5 will be charged for each quantity recalled.
Example: 100 quantities of a product for recalled for inventory recall will be charged a total of ₹500 (₹5 x 100 quantities).
Customer return fee
Based on products returned
Customer return fee is applied for each order returned by the customer due to a reason attributable to the seller. A flat fee of ₹50 is charged per returned order. Reasons of return and their respective attribution to the seller is shared in the daily statements of account.
Example: If 2 quantities of your product were returned by the customer from the same order, total customer return fee charged would be ₹50
Damage/Loss Settlement
Based on inventory loss or damage
In case of loss or damage, sellers are compensated based on a percentage of the product’s selling price, determined by the business category.
Example: Example: If a product priced at ₹1,000 falls under a category with 80% coverage, the refund amount would be ₹800
